Scrum Master

SUMMARY:
Our esteemed client is an internationally renowned company operating in the advanced technology sector, specializing in the development of medium to high-resolution earth observation cameras. Their portfolio of optical payload products is specifically designed to offer extensive imaging solutions for small satellites, and their presence in the industry is consistently expanding. They boast a team of dedicated engineers who are driven by their passion for the field and are currently experiencing significant growth. They cater to space and satellite companies on a global scale.

POSITION INFO:

Take the lead in guiding the engineering development teams to comprehend and implement Scrum principles and methodologies
Provide clear and specific guidance to teams to ensure the timely completion of agreed-upon deliverables
Encourage active participation from team members within their assigned roles and responsibilities
Maintain a strong focus on the effective implementation of Agile practices
Effectively manage risks and issues that arise during sprints, escalating them to the relevant Project Manager(s) when necessary
Monitor the daily progress of all team activities
Regularly report progress to the Project Manager(s)
Facilitate Scrum events such as planning, review, retrospectives, and daily stand-up meetings, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness
Conduct daily stand-up meetings in a timely and concise manner
Provide training on Scrum methodologies to the development teams as well as the wider organization

Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
Experience in project-based electronic or mechanical hardware and/or software development within a high-tech international company
Demonstrates effective facilitation and coaching skills
Capable of establishing a consistent, organized, and disciplined approach to the Agile process, utilizing sprint metrics when necessary
Adapts well to fast-paced environments characterized by frequent changes in priorities
Displays exceptional communication skills, both internally and externally, across all levels of the organization
Skilled at identifying and resolving conflicts and tensions
Embraces a servant leadership style, prioritizing the needs of the team
Possesses strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Qualification:
Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
Minimum of 5+ years of experience
Certification in SAFe Scrum Master, ITIL, PMI Agile Scrum, CSM
