A pharmaceutical giant seeks an experienced Accountant to join their team. This position will be based in Johannesburg North.

A pharmaceutical giant seeks an experienced Accountant to join their team. This position will be based in Johannesburg North.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full accounting function, working hand in hand with the Financial Manager.

Duties include but not limited to:

Journals and processing
Reconciliations
Banking
Budgets and forecasts
Cashflow
Financial statements
Audit preparations and queries
Inventory / stock counts and recons

Education:
BCom degree in finance or accounting
CIMA or CA(SA) will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Completed SAICA articles
3 to 5 years' experience in a full function accounting role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is essential
Pastel knowledge essential
Financial acumen and business-savvy
Strong negotiation skills
Strong relationship building skills
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
