SUMMARY:
An established and high-performing asset management firm is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join their dynamic investment team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of financial markets, who thrives in a performance-driven environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving investment decision-making, conducting in-depth research, and contributing to portfolio construction across multiple asset classes.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies, sectors, and macro-economic themes
Build and maintain financial models, perform valuations, and develop investment cases
Present investment recommendations to the investment committee
Monitor existing portfolio holdings and provide timely updates
Generate independent insights that contribute to alpha generation
Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to support asset allocation and risk-adjusted return strategies
Stay abreast of market trends, news, and regulatory developments
Attend company results presentations, analyst briefings, and industry conferences
Mentor and support Junior Analysts, where applicable

Requirements:

A strong academic background – Honours Degree in Finance, Investments, or a related field (CFA qualification or candidacy preferred)
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience as an Investment Analyst, preferably in asset management
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
Deep understanding of capital markets and investment principles
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally
High level of intellectual curiosity, integrity, and attention to detail
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well in a collaborative team environment
