JOB SUMMARY:
Senior Data Warehouse Developer (SQL Server) – Centurion – Fixed Term Contract up to R1m PA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you currently developing data models?

Can you prepare plans for ETL Procedures?

Do you monitor and tune data loads?

We require your subject matter expertise within our Business Intelligence department urgently!

Requirements:

Have practical knowledge of T-SQL (5 years +),
Exposure and knowledge of Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS Access, Mongo and PostgreSQL
Have practical experience of SQL Server Database Engine (5 years +).
Have practical experience of MS SSIS ETL software (5 years +).
Knowledge of MS SSAS OLAP software
Have practical experience of MS Visual Studio Data Tools (5 years +).
Should have a good understanding of source control systems and the concepts of building and releasing software versions. Microsoft TFS knowledge is preferred.
Clear understanding and application of DAMA framework.
Have the ability to draft new data governance policies in accordance with TOGAF, ZACHMAN or other frameworks
Have solid understanding of Metadata, Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Architecture.

Qualifications:

Degree/ Honours in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering
Relevant Microsoft Certifications in Business Intelligence, SQL, Web/Desktop development
DMBOK certified will be advantageous
