Senior Data/Platform Engineer

Established over 25 years ago, my client, who prides themselves on principles of integrity, trust and transparency, is a financial services organization that focuses on providing wealth and asset management and insurance solutions to clients.

The prosperous candidate would be required to Effectively communicate with development and operations teams to orchestrate the creation of solutions that can scale and support a modern financial technology company. The successful incumbent will also be required to assist in modernising and automating the processes between software development and IT teams to enable continuous delivery through designing, developing, testing and releasing software frequently, faster and more reliably in an agile environment.

DUTIES

• Drive modern software engineering practises and innovation
• Collaboration between Architecture, Development, QA and Infrastructure
• Evaluate new applications packages and tools
• Develop IT solutions
• Create technical design specifications
• Manage expenditure planning and reporting
• Maintain/deploy architecture solutions using Azure

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in IT/Comp Science
• Azure certifications
• 3 year’s experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps/Kubernetes
