SUMMARY:
A well-known water treatment solutions company requires the above to manage customers within the industrial, municipal, commercial, and institutional water treatment markets, ensuring that company achieves the revenue, profitability, and market share objectives aligned with the company’s portfolio.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

A tertiary qualification in either chemistry or chemical engineering or environmental science, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
The candidate must have effluent water treatment experience.
Technical knowledge of water treatment processes, chemistry, and equipment being able to design solutions around the latest technology around dissolved air flotation, clarifiers, multi-filter media, ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis etc.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Responsible for the sale and technical service of all water treatment products at customers within the industrial, municipal, commercial, and institutional water treatment markets, ensuring that company achieves the revenue, profitability, and market share objectives aligned with the company’s portfolio.
Manage and oversee plant surveys independently being able to design solutions around the latest technology around dissolved air flotation, clarifiers, multi-filter media, ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis etc.
Preparing sales budgets for the area and achieving budgeted sales and profit plans.
Managing and overseeing all annual reviews of all strategic and major accounts in your region, in order to ascertain account status and set new mutually agreed to goals for the new year.
Training and motivating your service team and accompanying them on sales and service calls at customer sites.
Supplying monthly area reports on customer visits and presenting these to management.
Servicing and monitoring existing applications and projects within the food and beverage, industrial, hospital, h-vac and related sectors.
Preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals and tenders.
Driving growth by continuously focusing on creating and delivering customer value, leveraging the company’s competitive advantage and product portfolio.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
