POSITION INFO:
Senior Financial Accountant – Johannesburg North

Requirements:

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS 9, 16, and 17.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies, and ensure that financial reports accurately reflect the company’s performance, with a focus on insurance-specific metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Streamline reporting processes to enhance the timeliness and accuracy of financial data, ensuring continuous improvement.

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance
• SAIPA or SAICA articles qualified
• 5+ years post-articles experience within the Cell Captive Insurance sector
