SUMMARY:
ð Financial Manager | Hybrid (Rosebank / Pretoria + WFH)
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified CA(SA) or CIMA professional to step into a pivotal Financial Manager role within a growing and dynamic organisation operating in the natural resources and energy sectors.
With a strategic acquisition of an industrial plant underway, this role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to a company that is expanding across upstream energy, renewable development, and critical metals.

POSITION INFO:

About the Role

This hybrid position offers a balance of remote work and in-office collaboration at offices in Rosebank and Pretoria. As Financial Manager, you will take charge of management accounting, group consolidation, and financial reporting, directly influencing the organisation’s financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

ð Management Accounting

Prepare and oversee monthly management accounts
Deliver insightful analysis to support executive decision-making
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews
Drive operational efficiency across business units

ð Group Consolidation

Manage the full group consolidation process in compliance with IFRS
Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Prepare consolidated financial reports
Liaise with external auditors during year-end audits

ð§¾ Financial Reporting & Compliance

Ensure tax and statutory compliance (VAT, corporate tax, etc.)
Maintain accurate, standard-compliant financial records
Monitor and enforce adherence to financial policies and procedures

ð§ Process Improvement

Identify opportunities for automation and reporting enhancements
Streamline financial systems and improve departmental efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

CA(SA) or CIMA / CGMA (essential)
Strong background in management accounting and group consolidation
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage X3)
In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
Able to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and work across functions
Hands-on approach and willingness to engage across all areas of finance
