JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Senior Manager will align business objectives with employees and management across the business. He/she will serve as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues and act as employee champion, change agent while assessing and anticipating HR-related needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
• Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
• Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
• Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
• Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
• Oversee overall Talent acquisition, Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Total Rewards, Facilities & HSE Processes in the assigned Region.
• Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.

• Manage the relationship with the payroll service provider and ensure accuracy of payroll
• Manage the relationship with the skills service provider, ensure registration with the relevant SETA and submit annual reports as required
• Perform administrative tasks such as creating purchase requisitions and manage the relationship with HR suppliers
• Management of the recruitment process and co-ordination of all recruitment, in line with business requirements and processes
• Drive Employment Equity plans and Skills plans in line with the organisation’s business plans
• Manage the implementation and ensure compliance to the Employee Equity BBBEE plan/strategy

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required

Experience
• 8+ Years in HR roles - preference for generalist with some COE exposure preferred.
• Proven background in a multinational corporate HR environment with experience in South Africa; experience across the broader MENA region preferred

License and Certifications
• Human Resourcesmember Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Qualified CIPD member or other related qualification upon hire required
