Duties:

Audit engagements
Understand strategic, operational, financial, local, and business considerations
Identify and assess relevant risks and mitigating controls
Conduct assessments on current and emerging risks
Identify management controls to mitigate key risks
Plan, execute and report on remote and on-site auditing
Detailed risk-based audits based on the approved annual audit plan
Identify audit issues and propose constructive and practical solutions to management
Present audit results and solutions to management
Conduct exit meeting discussions with management on the recommendations

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Degree in Internal Audit, Risk, Information Systems or Accounting CA(SA)
CIA/CRMA/CRISC/CIMA advantageous

Experience:

Must have min 8- 10 years working experience in mining industry
Must have valid passport / work permit for South Africa

Excellent knowledge and ability to identify current or emerging risks in the mining sector
