POSITION INFO:

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The Senior Manager of Horticulture Services is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of horticultural practices and services. This role involves supervising a team of horticulturists, landscapers, and other related staff to ensure the optimal health, growth, and aesthetic quality of landscapes, gardens, and green spaces. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to enhance the environmental sustainability and visual appeal of these spaces.

• Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of horticultural practices, plant species, soil management, pest control, and landscape design.
  • Proficiency in using horticultural tools, equipment, and software for landscape design and management.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to horticultural challenges.

  • Professional certifications in horticulture, landscape management, or related fields

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Botany, Environmental Science.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in horticulture or landscape management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience in large-scale landscape management, including project planning, execution, and team leadership.
