Our client, a prestigious FMCG manufacturer and retail distribution company, seeks to employ a vibrant, organised and professional Senior Planner/Planning Manager, to support their professional team.

This role is ideally geared toward candidates who have managed planning for high-end brands, specifically in home décor, appliances and kitchenware accessories

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have a relevant qualification in either Supply Chain Management or Business/Finance Management, coupled with a minimum of 8 years experience in retail planning and channel demand planning
You will have a expert understanding of financial profit generation through effective planning for all channels, as well as analysis of performance of products, benchmarking of competitor ranges and driving new processes and efficiency of channels
You will have a solid understanding of retail trends, forecasting, competitor analysis, SEO/SEM and CRM practices and market research
You will be analytical, be adept at reporting on data and market trends, as well as being hands on in terms of monitoring stock for distribution and correcting stock levels
A good communication and interpersonal ability is essential
Advanced Excel and BI reporting is essential
A working knowledge of ERP system such as Syspro or SAP is essential
A clear criminal and credit record is essential and verifications will be conducted.
