JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a giant in the Insurance sector is looking for an experienced I.T Project Manager to manage the day-to-day deliverables and ensure execution in accordance with their Project Management methodology and governance.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Facilitate the process for Business Case development and approval
Ensure alignment between approved Business Case & program delivery
Define & manage the projects in the program in accordance with the PM methodology, governance & standards
Effective Risk, Issue, Actions, Budget & Dependency management
Effective utilization of program & project management forums for reporting, escalation & decision making (Project-, Steercom- & Investment committee meetings)
Formalise Change Management (scope, budget, timeline)
Stakeholder management - establish and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in managing multi-million rand projects or programs reporting into CIO’s
Proven performance record in managing Financial / Life Insurance related application development projects
Experience in applying the Agile methodology
