JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Manager for an USA-based Christian NGO, KZN

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Objectives of the company:

Fight anti-human trafficking
Caring for orphaned and abandoned children

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Senior Development Manager includes leading and overseeing a small team of software developers responsible developing the following:

Custom data collection and analysis web application with Django web frameworks in combination with PostgreSQL and AngularJS
Database that would house and organize all child records related
Task management system
A detailed project scope will be shared to suitable candidates for privacy reasons

Qualifications:

Working experience as a Senior Software Developer/Architect
5 years of leadership experience
BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Open to relocation/or currently based in Ballito, KZN
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of assessing complex issues and finding systematic solution
Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts
In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, and development
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
Hands on experience with complex project management
Excellent organizational and time-management skill
Attention to detail
