Senior Tactical Officer

SUMMARY:
An Internal Vacancy exists for a Senior Tactical Officer in Critical Infrastructure Division - MTN based in Gauteng
 
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:  

POSITION INFO:

• Routine patrols within a dedicated area of responsibility with focus on crime prevention;
• Identify out of the ordinary behaviour and actions, as well as respond to various types of incidents;

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
• Proof and Verification of Grade A PSIRA Certification;
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license;
• Firearm competency for Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle
• Regulation 21
• Recognised tactical training
• Previous experience at operational tactical response level;
• Defensive driving qualification;
• Excellent disciplinary record,
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
• Own reliable transport
