We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Transactor to join our dynamic Transactions Team, which plays a pivotal role in taking renewable energy projects from Preferred Bidder status to Financial Close. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to South Africa’s clean energy future while working on high-impact infrastructure projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, or Commerce

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Transactor, you will support the Transactions Manager and Head of Transactions in:

• Transaction Execution: Drive the implementation of renewable energy transactions to Financial Close.
• Legal Oversight: Manage the negotiation, preparation, and review of all legal agreements.
• Financial Modelling: Support the review and analysis of financial models from Bid Stage to Financial Close.
• Advisory Management: Lead advisor appointments and coordinate due diligence processes.
• Deal Structuring: Assist in structuring transactions and negotiating terms with lenders.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with legal, technical, and insurance advisors, as well as internal project teams.
• Tender Support: Collaborate with the Development Team on tender submissions.
• Compliance Management: Oversee and manage the Conditions Precedent (CP) Checklist.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
  • Banking & Finance
  • Project Finance
  • Infrastructure Transactions
• Proven experience in Renewable Energy project financing
