Senior engineer

SUMMARY:
Senior engineer (mechanical), East Rand company. 

Educational  Requirements:
B.Eng or Individually evaluated based on Person Specification and- Experience Requirements

• Solve various technical and- business problems and optimize solutions in terms of safety, sustainability, usefulness and RROI (Rate of Return on Effort).
• Lead special engineering projects and complicated orders.
• Understand and be involved in all stages of production from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning, providing expert guidance and influencing various departments. 
• Process engineering orders through the drawing office by finalizing specifications, do detail design, compiling BOMs and preparing detail manufacturing drawings.
• Detail design and 3D modeling of gears, shafts, housings and other mechanical components from engineering specifications
• Gear design based on comapnies standards and programs, as well as international standards.
• Preparing and/or approving of drawings for manufacturing, procurement and quotation purposes
