Job Description

Will be responsible and accountable to a Department with 6 direct reports and 5 shared reports

 Main duties would include

  • Compile and implement marketing plans
  • Manage escalated workshop (Technical) problems accordingly
  • Ensure accurate workshop capacity planning according to productive and available staff
  • Control work in progress (WIP) on all vehicles in the workshop daily to maintain an acceptable level
  • Responsible for annual budget of service department
  • Manage a profitable workshop against budget
  • Responsible for internal workshop reports and processes
  • Manage risk (Financial and Non-financial) within department
  • Maintain good housekeeping within department

 Minimum Requirements:

Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

Computer literate (Office Suite)

Valid Driver’s licence

Min. 2 years’ experience as a Service Manager (will not consider any candidates without it)

Advantageous:

Management Diploma or Certificate would be advantageous as well as working knowledge of Kerridge
