Service Technician

SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced technician with a working understanding of boiler and burner systems? Our client is seeking someone to take on the challenge of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial boilers to ensure top-tier performance and reliability.

POSITION INFO:

Attend to breakdowns and upselling based on the scenario on site and following through with any potential sale opportunities
Design panel drawing and layouts, back and forth Liaison with panel builder for drawings and approvals
Reviewing specifications for cable and materials needed for installations (cable trays, cable glands, consumables etc)
Burner modification and retrofits at the office before installation. Followed by panel to burner test and simulations to speed up commissioning.
Startup and commissioning
Traveling locally and internationally for installations and commissioning.

Skills & Experience:
B Tech: M. Eng or N. Dip Mech Eng
Gas Practitioner License
Minimum 4 – 8 years in the Industrial/ Engineering environment
Commissioning of burners and boilers
Minimum 3– 4 years installation of burners and boiler experience

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
