Short Term Insurance Claims Handler within a law firm - Pretoria

POSITION INFO:
A law firm based in Brooklyn needs a Short Term Insurance Claims Handler. Typical duties include: Typical duties include:

Verify motor vehicle accident information with clients by telephone.

Draft letter of demand (notice of intention to summons)

Phone other insurance companies to verify claims if the third party is insured.

If no insurance company involved claim full amount excess included from third party directly, including settlement offers as per accident merit.
Obtain outstanding information from clients and third parties and upload all the information onto the file.

Draft acknowledge of debt letter and get it completed, signed by debtor and upload onto the file.
Create promises to pay and follow up until account is settled in full.
