Showroom Assistant / Administrator
POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a Showroom Assistant / Administrator to join our team
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our showroom operations. As a Showroom Assistant / Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with showroom sales, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the showroom is well-maintained.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and provide product information regarding stock availability and pricing
- Follow up on quotations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues
- Maintain showroom appearance and cleanliness
- Assist with maintaining visual presentation of the showroom (ie displays)
- Support the showroom manager and sales team with administrative tasks
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed
- Liaise with staff and clients as needed
- Marking of drawings for corporate account
- Assist with the list of samples for corporate clients
The ideal candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid driver's licence
- Computer literacy
- Experience in customer service, sales support, and office administration.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written
- Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Team player
- Proactive with a "can-do" attitude
- Professional appearance and and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role.
- Able and willing to work on Saturdays
