JOB SUMMARY:
A position has become available at a hospital facility in the Eastern Cape for an experienced Soft Services Facilities Manager. The key responsibility will be managing and coordinating of all internal and external non-technical support services for the facility.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Only applicants with previous experience in a similar position within the Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail or FMCG sectors, will be considered.

Key responsibility:
  • Management of all non-technical services: Laundry, Catering, Pest Control, Security, Waste Management, Landscaping etc.
  • Management of external service providers
  • Quality systems management
  • Financial management
  • People management
Knowledge & experience of:
  • Min 3-5 yrs non-technical Facilities Management and people management (large teams)
  • Management of budgets and forecasting
  • Procurement services for facility management
  • SLA and contract management
  • OHSA Act
  • Technical report writing
  • Computer literate: MS Office suite
Qualification/Attributes: (essential):
National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 7) in either:
Facilities Management, Project Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain/Contracts Management
Valid driver’s licence

High level of flexibility and to attend to after-hour call outs (if required)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to function well under pressure
High level of quality standards
