POSITION INFO:

Staff Food Chef

Job Duties:

Prepare and cook meals for staff members
Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
Manage kitchen inventory and food supplies
Adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a chef or cook
Relevant certifications in food preparation and safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of various cooking methods and techniques
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Culinary arts degree or equivalent qualification
Previous experience in a hospitality setting
Additional certifications in food handling and hygiene

Working Conditions:

Live-in accommodation provided
Irregular working hours, including weekends and holidays
Fast-paced kitchen environment
Physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting
