POSITION INFO:

I am currently recruiting for a Strategic Financial Analyst for a leading, financial services company, based in Cape Town. This role will include providing commercial insight and analysis of business performance, compiling financial reports, and provide business intelligence to assist in decision making.

Responsibilities:

Support the integrated reporting planning process
Assist in drafting commentary for quarterly operating updates, interim and year-end results.
Assist in compiling and reviewing monthly updates to the business on the performance of Key Performance Indictors across the business
Provide commercial insight and analysis of business performance, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business performance.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and insight on specific issues, such as investor relations, financial modelling, industry and competitor analysis, business plans around merger and acquisition activities and large-scale organic investments.

Requirements:

CA(SA) qualified, with a minimum of 3 years post articles experience.
Financial Services experience is essential
Previous experience in report writing
