IT Strategy Formulation: Shape and maintain the organisation's technology strategy.
Thought Leadership and PoV Development: Maintain knowledge of current thinking and best practice in the global and local IT industries. Develop points of view for positioning the company (through IT) to leverage this in driving strategy.
Operating Model Management: Maintain and update the IT operating model, frameworls and related assets. Collaborate with the CIO and senior leadership to evolve the operating model along the transformation path.
Social Listening: Implements processes, tools and techniques to leverage social media and monitor it for trending topics related to the company and the retail industry locally.
IT Communications: Provide strategic input and content for IT communications.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
3 year degree
15 years' related experience in IT strategy, retail strategy, innovation and strategic planning
Project Management skills
Demonstrates strategic expertise
