Supplier BBBEE Compliance Administrator (remote)
POSITION INFO:
Supplier Compliance Administrator
General roles and responsibilities:
1. Outbound call centre
• Phoning suppliers on behalf of SCM clients, and requesting BEE certificates/affidavits
2. Data sourcing, vetting and capturing
• Sourcing of supplier contact details where client has not provided one
• Verifying if the company name, registration number and vat number on the BEE certificate/affidavit belongs to the company in question by way of using CIPC database and SARS vat vendor search portal
• Vetting if the contents of the BEE document align to the Generic BEE codes/ sector codes for sector specific companies (Transport, Tourism, Construction etc.)
• Uploading BEE documents on the BEE database (Beagle)
