Are you a skilled Logistics and Supply Chain professional with a passion for planning, client service, and operational excellence? Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Planning and Client Care Consultant to join their dynamic team on-site in the East Rand.

🌟 About the Role

As the Planning and Client Care Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and customer-focused outbound operations. You’ll oversee the administration, planning, and control of outbound orders to clients, ensuring service delivery meets agreed KPIs. This role bridges internal operational teams and valued clients, maintaining service excellence and proactive communication at every stage.

 

POSITION INFO:

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and control outbound orders to clients, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Manage order administration and documentation to align with client expectations and company standards.
• Monitor and report on key service metrics including SIC (Stock Inventory Control), OTIF (On-Time In-Full), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), CSC (Customer Service Centre), and SAP workflows.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams (production, warehouse, logistics) to resolve challenges and improve efficiency.
• Provide accurate reporting and continuous feedback to improve processes and client satisfaction.

🎯 Requirements

✅ South African citizen.
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (essential).
✅ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain within a manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to outbound planning, administration, and client service.
✅ Proven experience working on SIC, OTIF, CRM, CSC, and SAP systems.
✅ Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site in a fast-paced environment.
