Our client has an opportunity for a professional to join their team. The incumbent will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the health and safety culture within the manufacturing facility operations by ensuring legal compliance and ensure that the
group’s related requirements are implemented.
- Maintain, implement and revise company policies and operational procedures
- Ensure that emergency response plans are aligned with business risks, employees are trained
and that the plan is effectively implemented
- Schedule and perform regular internal audits to measure performance
- Preparation, implementation and revision of safe work procedures for all operations
- Schedule required Occupational Hygiene Surveys and review findings with management
- Maintain up to date legal organogram and ensure that all legal appointments are up to date
- Preparation, implementation and revision of safe work procedures for all operations
- And any other related duties
Qualifications
National Diploma in Health and Safety Management or Equivalent
Skills
- 5-10 Years experience in the High Risk Manufacturing Environement
- ISO 45001/14001 management systems
- Computer literacy
- SAMTRAC/NEBOSH IGC
- HIRA & Legal Liability Incident investigation First Aid L2 Own vehicle
