TRACKLESS MINING (TMM) ENGINEER

Job Grade: D3 - Permanent Role

Location: Northern Cape

Remuneration: R 1.5 – 2m per annum

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This role is for a TRACKLESS MINING (TMM) ENGINEER and its purpose is to manage and coordinate the section to ensure safe installation, proper operation, running and maintenance for optimum availability at the lowest cost according to operational requirements, organisational objectives and sound engineering practice.

Min Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• GCC Certificate (Mines and Works)
• Management or leadership qualification, such as Leadership Development Programme (LDP) or equivalent (e.g. MDP, MBA, etc.)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mining environment
• Successful Completion of GCC in a mining environment
• Working experience in Surface / Underground (TMM essential)
• PMP qualification (i.e. project management) – ADVANTAGE
• 5 years’ experience in a projects environment – ADVANTAGE
• Risk Assessment certification – ADVANTAGE
