We’re on the hunt for a Dynamic Team Lead: Accounting!

POSITION INFO:
Do you have a sharp eye for detail, a head for numbers, and a heart for people? We’re looking for a Team Lead: Accounting who thrives on balancing financial precision with team leadership — and loves making a difference for clients. Duties:

Review client financials monthly, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and completeness
Oversee tax calculations, VAT reviews, and the finalization of financial statements
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of accountants — managing workflow, performance, and wellbeing
Build lasting client relationships with proactive communication and hands-on support
Identify workflow gaps, streamline processes, and suggest practical improvements
Keep leadership informed with insights on team progress and client risk areas

Education and Experience:

BCom Accounting or related degree
Professional membership preferred
3+ Years experience in a similar position at small to medium size business

Skills:

Accounting software experience essential (Xero Adviser certification would be beneficial)
MS Excel - Intermediate (Pivot tables)
