Our client, a leading biorational company in the agricultural sector, is seeking an enthusiastic Technical Sales Representative to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or National Diploma in Agriculture (advantageous)
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in agricultural sales and marketing, along with technical expertise
• AVCASA/BASOS certification (or willingness to obtain if not already certified)
• Knowledge of the fruit export industry value chain, phytosanitary standards, plant diseases, and MRL compliance
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in agricultural sales and marketing, along with technical expertise
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region
• Valid driver’s license (Code B or higher)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), with GIS skills being an advantage

• Manage the assigned territory in the Eastern Cape, with a primary focus on the Sundays River Valley
• Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding annual targets across agents, growers, crop types, and product categories
• Support the introduction and positioning of new products within the market
• Conduct in-orchard applications and provide technical product support to growers and agents
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with agents, customers, and key industry stakeholders
• Execute on-the-ground strategies aligned with business objectives in the designated area
• Handle all related administrative functions including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, depot and stock coordination, and documentation
• Ensure alignment with market intelligence and customer feedback to inform commercial decisions
• Represent the brand and values professionally at field events, demos, and technical sessions
• Collaborate closely with the broader technical and commercial team to support cross-functional initiatives
