Technical Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
An international company operating in the chemical manufacturing sector is seeking a Technical Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years of relevant technical sales experience with a relevant tertiary qualification or 10 years of experience in the Pulp & Paper industry.

POSITION INFO:

The position is based in Durban, however, the successful person will be responsible for the Richards Bay area.

You will be required to ensure the sustainability and growth of accounts in the selected industry sector. Ensure existing applications and equipment are maintained and technical services are performed to ensure optimal performance. A company that offers growth potential and professional development. Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Degree/National Diploma or equivalent in Pulp and Paper /Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Chemical Engineering is a pre-requisite.
• The successful candidate will be a people-person, practically orientated, able to handle pressure, a problem solver and a self-motivated team member.
• Advanced writing skills and in particular technical report writing
• Able to communicate at all levels in English
• Prepared to travel
• Driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages
