If you have experience overseeing maintenance and project operations across the Western and Eastern Cape, and take pride in ensuring equipment reliability, operational excellence, and top-tier safety compliance — we want to connect with you. This role typically partners closely with the ESD and Regional Manager and plays a key role in driving performance across critical engineering functions.
Education:
- Millwright Trade Certificate
- N6 and/or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Business Management Certificate (advantageous)
- SACGA Gas Installer registration (preferred)
Job Experience & Skills Required: - Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a heavy engineering or production environment, ideally in the gas industry
- At least 5 years in a supervisory role managing technicians, artisans, and contractors
- Strong knowledge of SHERQ systems and ISO standards
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and project execution
- Ability to manage multiple installations and ensure high workmanship standards
- Medically fit to work at heights
- Valid unendorsed Code 08 driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (for reports, planning and communication)
