POSITION INFO:

A well-established financial services and investment management business is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join their tax services team on a temporary contract basis. This opportunity is ideally suited to a candidate who has completed accounting, audit or tax articles and is looking to gain further exposure within a professional and highly reputable financial services environment. This position will provide SARS administrative and tax compliance support to the tax team, with exposure to both individual and trust-related tax administration processes.

What you will be doing:

Registration of trusts and individuals for tax
Updating tax representative details
Collating supporting documentation for SARS submissions
Assisting with SARS administration and eFiling profile transfers
Supporting audit-related documentation, scanning and archiving
Attending SARS meetings where required

What we are looking for:

Accounting degree or diploma completed
Completed accounting, audit or tax articles preferred
Previous tax exposure advantageous
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Intermediate MS Office and Excel skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Valid driver's licence and own vehicle required
Clear credit and criminal record checks
