JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The person selected to fulfil this position will be required to prepare cost estimates, budget quotations and quotations for tenders. He/she will be given practical, on-job training in the activities involved
The successful applicant requires 2 or more years practical experience in the electrical industry, specifically in the HV & MV Substation environment. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in the testing of HV & MV Power Plant the testing & commissioning of Control Plant (Protection, Metering, SCADA & AC/DC Systems)
The successful applicant must be proficient with the MS Office suite of programs. Advanced skills in the use of MS Excel & Word are a minimum requirement
A working knowledge of basic contracts would be an advantage
The successful applicant must be capable to work efficiently & accurately with deadlines
The successful applicant must be willing and able to travel and spend time away from home as and when required for work
The successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license

Qualification:

National diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
