SUMMARY:
Well established company on the East Rand seeks a Junior Toolmaker

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements
Recently qualified Toolmaker or Tool, Jig and Die Maker
Must reside on the East Rand
Experience on CNC machines advantageous

Duties will include

• Assisting in tool fabrication and repair
• Reading and following technical drawings
• Operating and maintaining manual and CNC machinery
• Setting up CNC machines and loading programs under supervision
• Monitoring CNC operations and performing basic troubleshooting
• Measuring and inspecting components for accuracy
• Learning toolmaking and CNC techniques through training
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized
• Following all health and safety procedures
