SUMMARY:
Key opportunity available for a talented Information Systems Training Specialist to join Pick n Pay

Designs, develops, structures and delivers Learning Solutions in line with business outcomes and requirements with the objective of building appropriate skills and competencies. Ensures high quality learning materials are produced, maintained as part of the overall Pick n Pay IS learning catalogue, and available to training.

POSITION INFO:
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies training requirements and skills gaps, and crafts a suitable training strategy for learning and to bridge skills gaps to boost competency levels.
- Plans and prepares for development, delivery and review of training
- Develops training content and appropriate aids
- Makes arrangements for seamless training delivery/events
- Delivers/facilitates training sessions and assess the effectiveness thereof
- Quality of the Learning Experience enabled, supported, monitored and improved
- Supports the project or change initiative through compelling communications
around process/system changes or key notifications during the change lifecycle
- Make use of relevant frameworks and toolsets used to maintain, support, enhance
and administer training for specified areas of responsibilities
- Ensures learning is effectively facilitated through robust analysis, high quality
content, efficient delivery approaches and well-rounded facilitation skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- NQF5 (National Certificate/Diploma) or equivalent in a relevant discipline linked
discipline of training
- Trained in Learning & Development methodologies and facilitation skills
- 3-5 years working in Learning and Development with demonstrated experience in
working on Project implementation or enhancements in IT/Retail
- Experience in developing system/technical training material – SAP training
material or large ERP package implementations is an advantage
- Experience in a range of learning facilitation techniques
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
