SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
To ensure that all drivers are accurately debriefed when returning from the days duty as well as comparing the trip sheets to the power track reports.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· OPERATIONS
· Checking if all drivers and crew is allocated and dispatched on time
· Debriefing of drivers and completing debriefing sheets in full
· Receiving of IBT/hangers & timeous allocation
· Checking tripsheets against tracking for unscheduled stops and reporting this
· Receiving of vehicles keys and updating all registers
· Checking all POD’s for discrepancy (shortages etc)
· Locking and securing of office/vehicle keys
· Safe keeping of EDC cards
· Ensuring that all vehicles are in parking area before leaving (back to back)
· Check vehicles daily for damages etc and report - daily
· Investigate fuel shortages
· Obtaining statements for claims
· Ensure staff clock out timeously to reduce overtime
· Debrief IBT / Paxi and update reports
· Shunting of vehicles into loading bays
ADMINISTRATION
· Preparation of the next day’s delivery paperwork
· Assigning of collections
· Assigning of seals for seal to seal procedures
· Emailing in and out times
· Advising of dispatch times via Whatsapp or email
· Rotate with site supervisor when required (when on leave or absent)
· Updating all dedicated reports
· Scan through daily DA’s and tripsheets before clocking out
CUSTOMER SERVICE
· Customer relations ensuring that debriefing is always up to required standard
· Clear and timeous communication
· Respond to emails daily
· Attend monthly Scorecard meetings and ensure targets / KPI’s are met daily / monthly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Grade 12, Min 5 Years Experience
