SUMMARY:

We are recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee the Transport / logistics operations in the Western Cape region.

POSITION INFO:

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Transport Operations Manager to join our team. As the Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, scheduling routes for cost effectiveness, managing sales and pricing, handling budgets, and leading a team of drivers and operations staff. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in transport operations, possess mechanical knowledge, and be able to collaborate with workshop management in decision-making processes. If you are a self-starter and leader in the field, we would like to meet you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee logistics operations
Schedule routes for cost effectiveness
Manage sales and pricing
Handle budgets
Lead and manage a team of drivers and operations staff
Collaborate with workshop management in decision making
Grade 12 plus any related qualification supporting the role
5 to 8 years experience as a transport manager
Valid drivers due to Company vehicle
