Truck Driver – Code 14

SUMMARY:
Our client, specialising in the supply and distribution of high-quality engineered wood products, is looking for a Truck and Bakkie Driver to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Truck Driver - Code 14
Location: Kempton park
Salary: R10 000 - R15 000 - CTC per month
Vacancy Type: Full-Time


Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Code 14 (EC) valid driver’s license for 10 ton Truck.
• Minimum 10 years’ professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Not colour blind (for safety and sorting tasks).
• Physically fit and able to load/unload.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Fluent in English.
• Time-conscious and dependable.
• Map reading or GPS navigation skills.

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
• Basic understanding of delivery paperwork/invoicing.

• Operate and maintain a 10-ton truck for scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Drive the company bakkie when required for smaller loads and errands.
• Ensure that all goods are securely loaded, transported, and delivered safely.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs.
