User Acceptance Test Specialist

POSITION INFO:

As the new fiscal cycle kicks off, my client—a leader in secure transaction technology—is expanding its QA infrastructure and seeking a UAT Specialist to lead acceptance testing across its evolving fintech product line. In this role, you’ll design and execute manual test plans that verify functionality, system-to-system accuracy, and business-critical logic.
You’ll operate at the intersection of PMO, product owners, developers, and testers—validating UI, backend data, and business requirements before every release. Expect to play a vital role in Agile delivery while influencing risk assessment, tracking defects, and refining business expectations.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3+ years in UAT or QA within high-speed IT or fintech environments
Strong manual testing and test case execution
Excellent grasp of business rules, functional specs, and use cases
Skilled in defect tracking and risk evaluation
Comfortable using Jira, Bugzilla, or Quality Center
Exposure to Agile and Waterfall frameworks
High-volume systems testing experience preferred
Effective communicator and stakeholder navigator

Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Certified Test Analyst
