Warehouse Supervisor (Board & Timber Experience Essential)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a dynamic warehouse manager who has experience with board & timber to join their team!

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Operations Manager.
Build a strong relationship with sales staff.
Continuous management of stock quantity, quality & availability.
Maintaining accurate records of inventory, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
Year-end stock counts.
Maintaining & organizing stock following company procedures, keeping the warehouse and the stock in order and clean.
Supporting the sales team in the arrangement of products in stock and in the post sales phase.
Maintaining accurate records of warehouse transactions and shipments.
Organize and manage the return of materials from customers
Supervising warehouse employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Ensuring a safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
Ensuring warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely.
Providing exceptional customer service.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2- 3 years’ experience.
Previous work experience in the board & timber industry essential.
Teamworking skills.
Problem solving skills, sense of neatness and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and experience with MS Office package – Mails, Excel, Word

Hours of work: Mon - Thu 07h30 - 16h30 & Fri 07h30 - 16h00
Will be expected to work Saturdays when required
