Account Manager (Public Sector) Medical Devices

This position is limited to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Midrand

Position Overview:

A leading multinational healthcare concern specialising in the field of IVD Devices and Medical Diagnostics is seeking to appoint a proficient Account Manager who will focus on Public Sector clients.

The Account Manager (Public Sector) will be responsible to develop account and portfolio strategies, identify and secure sales opportunities, build relationships with key executive decision makers in customers to grow the company’s market share in Gauteng but not limited only to this province.

The current opportunity is more than just Account Management, to secure this opportunity, one will need to display very strong commercial sales skills and strategic thinking, beyond just maintaining customer relationships.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

Completed NQF 7 qualification in Medical Science

5 - 7 Years’ Account Management experience in the Public Sector within either the Medical Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical multinational environment.
Must have a proven track record in displaying a strong commercial sales acumen
Must have a successful history of Account Management in the Public Sector
