Job Experience & Skills Required:

Oversee/check the work accuracy of the Accountant’s work
Handle consolidations where more than one company is involved – management consolations package, tax planning, cash management
Negotiate payment terms e.g. settlement discounts with clients
Investigate business opportunities i.e. mergers, take-overs; joint ventures; going public
Year-end planning
Devise time rosters
Audit planning and audits
Analyse and evaluate financial information. Make decisions based on this information and plan the implementation of these decisions
Year-end working papers for the group
Manage budgets and forecasts
Coordinate management accounts
Check variances and company secretarial duties
Costing duties if applicable
Report to the Board

Qualification and Skills Required:

SAICA or SAIPA.
2+ years’ experience in a Group FM function.
2 years in the FMCG industry.
