A powerhouse in the natural stone and quarrying sector is looking for a highly operational, commercially focused Head of Finance to take their business to the next level. This is a hands-on leadership role for a CA(SA) with an entrepreneurial mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

POSITION INFO:
This well-established company is a leader in the quarrying and natural stone industry, supplying high-quality materials for large-scale infrastructure and construction projects. With a strong operational focus, the business thrives on efficiency, innovation, and precision in financial management to maintain its competitive edge.
As the Head of Finance, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with operational teams to drive financial performance, optimize costs, and support strategic business growth. Your role will involve financial leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational integration, ensuring the company maximizes profitability while maintaining best-in-class financial controls.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) qualification is essential
Minimum 8-10 years’ post-articles experience in an industrial, mining, or resource-driven sector
Proven ability to lead financial strategy, optimize operational costs, and drive business performance
Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen
Experience with financial reporting, risk management, and business improvement initiatives
A hands-on, solutions-driven approach in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
