Legendary Safari Company is currently recruiting for a MARKETING DIRECTOR

POSITION INFO:
Candidate requirements:

• Must have the ability to assess and generate key insights within a digital realm, identify discerning and compatible audiences, and strategically be able to apply actions and activities across both B2C and B2B realms.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications is ESSENTIAL
• Must be proficient with HTML, content management systems, and design software
• Must have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience using InDesign is advantageous
• Conservation and NPO experience advantageous
• Desire to grow professionally through ongoing education
• An excellent knowledge and understanding of the luxury sector and the calibre of clientele that are targeted
• A sound ability to both strategize and implement is key
• Fully literate and numerate with the ability to perform relevant calculations, and statistics, and be able to interpret basic accounts and financial statements and reports
• Must have the ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomatically with internal and external stakeholders, guests and staff in all situations
• Humble, yet driven with a track record of performance
• Have the ability to work through periods of high demand and be ready to work on weekends
• A passion for the industry, a positive attitude and the ability to think out of the box
• Must be able to maintain physical stamina to personally lead their area of responsibility
• Assertiveness, patience and good organizational skills.
• A meticulous degree of pride in their personal presentation
• Must have experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
• Advanced ability to derive analytical insights and actions from SEO and marketing metrics
