SUMMARY:
A leading investment company, specializing in home loans, is looking for a Financial Accountant: Mergers and Acquisitions. Are you looking for a stable work environment and high monetary rewards? Then this is the role for you. This position is situated in Pretoria East.

POSITION INFO:
As the Mergers and Acquisitions Accountant you will be responsible for:

Financial Modelling and Analysis: Develop complex financial models to analyse various M&A scenarios, including revenue projections, cost analysis, and investment returns.
Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, outlining key findings and recommendations.
Deal Structuring: Develop creative and strategic deal structures to optimize value for the organization. Also, to collaborate with legal advisors to draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to M&A transactions.
Valuations: Perform company valuations using various methods, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

CA(SA) (This is a non-negotiable)
Previous experience in a similar role (3 years at least)
Expertise in M&A, financial modelling, analysis, deal structuring, and valuations
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and corporate finance
Financial modelling, forecasting, story development and presentation skills
