Main purpose of the Job:

Operate forklift and assist store staff with movement of stocks as per work schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12, a valid forklift licence

Main purpose of the job:

Collect and receive finished goods from Production, ensure goods are stored and warehoused and coldroom is maintained according to best practices. Customer orders are for distribution according to best practices.

Preferred Requirements:

• Matric (Gr.12)
• Forklift licence
• Induction training and training on warehouse/coldroom area work procedures and instructions

Knowledge:

• Understanding of Stores Stock Control & Principles
• Knowledge understanding of stock receiving practices and work practices procedures.
• Knowledge and understanding of minimum and maximum stock level quantities and practices.

Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of OHS procedures and practices within the store’s environment.

Main purpose of the job:

Coordinate all NPD trials, recipes, research, formulations, ingredients and communication thereof to the organisation on all assigned projects. This is preliminarily but not limited to DC1 projects.

Preferred Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Food Science or BTech Food Technology Diploma

• At least 3-5 years’ experience within a food and beverage operational environment (preferably with focus on New Product Development or Food Technology research)

• Must be a self-starter, and be able to take ownership of assigned projects within the small New Product Development team.

• Problem solving and basic project management knowledge • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills – ability to interact confidently with both suppliers and customers.

• Work well within a multifunctional team environment

• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise in our customer’s processes to enable end to end customer support.

Other Requirements:

• Contribute innovative new product ideas based on customer needs (interpretation of customer briefs) and market trends

• Support the New Product Development team in the thorough and timeous completion of projects (from sample phase, factory trials, through to evaluation at customers where required)

• Lead selected projects as assigned.

• Product and process improvement support for customers

• Product and process improvement and technical problem-solving support for manufacturing operations.

• Identify and develop relationships with key ingredient suppliers

• Produce costings for new product variants submitted

• Assist with completion of New Product Development administration (Specifications, loading of recipes into ERP system, etc.)

• Contribute to improving new product development processes and system

Main purpose of the job:

• Ensure that the Distribution and Tanker drivers are legally compliant and abide by the traffic laws. Drivers are fully competent in green band and defensive driving resulting in optimal vehicle running costs and vehicle longevity. Mitigate any driver related risks and exposure to Fair Cape Diaries.

Preferred Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant formal Driver Trainer qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in a driver training capacity
• Valid Driver Licenses

Main purpose of the job:

To operate the fresh milk pasteurise plant efficiently, with minimum waste while delivering the right quantity and quality product to the production facilities

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric 
• Leanership in Milk pasteurising plant

Knowledge:

• Principles and practices of pasteurisation 
• Knowledge of the CIP practices and principles
• Cleaning procedures, compliance standards
• Quality control procedures and workflow in own area. 
• Basic waste management

Skills:

• Operating and Monitoring skills
• Ability to interpret and carry out work instructions
• Basic instrumentation, system fault finding

Tasks:

• Provide service delivery to production facilities 
• Prepare to Pasteurise and start production 
• Prepare and Perform CIP procedures on the plant
• Always ensure a safe and healthy work environment 
• Create an environment of continuous improvement
