We are recruiting for a Data Developer who will provide crucial business solutions to our client. This role will be responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources in an efficient data warehousing and designing enterprise-level solutions for very large multi dimensional databases.
Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
Formal Degree in computer science or higher or equivalent qualification
5+ years’ experience in Database development and ETL (Essential), an additional 2 years’ in the above
5+ years’ Experience working with MS SQL Server (Essential) and the Microsoft Stack
Experience with DATIM, DHIS, ETR.NET, TIER.Net, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), OLAP, Tabular Cubes, PHP and Health Indicators is desirable
Advanced SSIS Package Skills
Proficient in Data Warehousing
Ability to organize, analyze and disseminate data in various formats

This role will provide technical guidance on the design, development and implementation of the Company’s M&E plan, build capacity at all program levels to develop, manage and operationalize M&E systems and plans that are aligned to program strategy, to allow for quality reporting and dissemination. The Senior Technical Advisor M&E will provide guidance and tools to ensure high quality and accurate data are collected for analysis and reporting purposes; assist in monitoring and reporting against Company’s projects’ performance indicators, key outputs and results; develop methods and milestones to monitor the project’s progress towards its goals, and; contribute to program strategy to ensure that activities and assignments are carried out as planned and the program objectives are being achieved.
Master’s degree in management, monitoring and evaluation, analytics, statistics or a related field is required.
At least 8 years of progressively responsible work experience in designing, establishing, and managing monitoring and evaluation systems, ensuring data quality, and managing data-intensive, performance-based programmes, preferably large-scale PEPFAR-funded programmes. (Essential)
Minimum of 6 years’ experience focused on operationalising performance indicators and, preferably, working within/extracting data from DATIM, TIER.Net, PHCIS, etc.
Must have experience leading and motivating a team composed of several interdisciplinary technical experts, and to be adept at managing competing deadlines and priorities.
Ability to work across business units and capture and disseminate lessons learned to ensure the continual improvement of data collection processes and outputs.
Ability to portray complex data sets in easy-to-understand formats including visualisations.
Working knowledge of South Africa’s health information systems and monitoring and evaluation processes as they relate to data collection for performance-based reporting on the National Strategic Plan.
Well-organized with an ability to handle a large workload, deliver on short deadlines and work independently.
Excellent written and communication skills in English.
The main purpose of the role is to guarantee accurate payroll records of approximately 4000 employees as well as to contribute to the timeous and accurate payment of salaries of all staff (multiple payrolls) in line with company processes and procedures and relevant legislation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field required.
Certification on Sage VIP Premier/Sage 300 People
More than 10 years’ payroll experience
At least 8 years in a payroll management role
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
Knowledge of BCEA, LRA and all other payroll related legislation
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
