Travex.com is a travel website that tells a picture story of various places a tourist / traveller can visit.

We are looking for a photographers who will visit a number of places in and around the city that they live and will submit 1 to 15 postcard pictures of each location. 

For example of some sites for a photographer living in CT

1. Table Mountains / Cableway etc
2. Camps Bay / Clifton / Sea Point / Llandudno / Sandy (Atlantic Seaboard)
3. Chapmans Peak Drive
4. V & A Watterfront
5. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
6. Boulders, Muizenburg, Simons Town, Cape Point, Cat Walk (Walk Between Muizenburg and St James) (Indian Coast line)
7. Newlands Forest
8. Wine farms
9. Museums
10. Woodstock (Old Biscuit Mill when open and full of activity)

We are a company that develops Websites to be used at scale.

The websites are developed in PHP. The frontend has a CSS framework and the UI is done in java scripting and ajax. The websites are designed for the consumer market and can be accessed by 100s of 1000 of people simultaneously.

We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and:
-understands and has experience in optimizing sql queries and all the code for efficiency
-will be able to do backend coding using PHP
-Be able to create and fix webpages using java scripting, ajax, css and HTML.

The candidates must be comfortable developing code from day 1 and discussing in a team how to resolve problems and create an optimized UI experience.

The candidate will also need an understanding of how to run websites at scale.

 We develop and test quickly so there is great pressure to perform.
